Columbia University National Undergraduate Film Festival (CUNUFF)

What: This year CUNUFF is proud to host a panel discussion: “Spotlight on Women in Film”, examining the challenges and triumphs of women trying to make it the film industry. We are proud to have with us Debra Zimmerman (Director of Women Make Movies), Barbara De Fina (Executive Producer, “Goodfellas”) and Imelda O’Reilly (Columbia, “Midnight Crisis”). The event is free of charge.

The 7th Annual CUNUFF event features seven of the most creative and challenging undergraduate films from around the country, with genres as diverse as Russian experimental to black comedy thrillers. The festival event will feature a Q&A following the screening with the directors and teams involved with several of the films, and then an award ceremony presided over by our wonderful judges Jennifer Elster (Director, “In the Woods”, “Particles of Truth”, producer, actress and expiremental darling), and Jamal Joseph (Songwriter, “August Rush”, Director, Producer, Columbia Graduate Film professor).” Tickets on sale here. $3 with CUID, $5 without.
