Marcie Bloom Fellowship for Graduating Film Students

What: THE IFP Marcie Bloom Fellowship in Film has opened its doors for the 2010-2011 application season. The Fellowship was started two years ago with Marcie Bloom at its center (former Co-President and Co-Founder, Sony Pictures Classics) to serve graduating students, who are interested in working in the New York film community.

The fellowship is a unique program that helps four fellows a year find their niche within the New York film community. The chosen fellows meet once a month with Marcie and a guest. Past guests have included Michael Barker (Co-President, Sony Pictures Classics), Courtney Hunt (writer, director- FROZEN RIVER), Ryan Fleck & Anna Boden (writer/directors- HALF NELSON/SUGAR), Anthony Bregman (producer, ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND) and many other wonderful NYC film producers, directors, writers and leaders within the film community.

To apply or to find more information please visit their website. Applications are due May 25th, 2010.
